A consultation that ends on the 25th January 2017 is underway. Proposals that will increase the weekly charges for care from £60 to £70 then probably to £100 within four years are being considered.

The current legislative framework for supporting them is based on a model introduced more than 30 years ago. This Bill proposes to replace existing legislation with a new legal framework- your views are needed

For 23 years we have hosted the Understanding Disability Awards. These recognise the outstanding efforts of people, groups and organisations that go out of their way to involve and include people with a learning disability

The New Theatre are holding a one-off show that is adjusted to suit the needs of children and young people with sensory needs, ASD and learning disabilities.

Our annual Understanding Disability Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday the 7th November.

Over 100 people came to watch many unsung heroes receive an award in recognition of their efforts.

Now in its 3rd year Visit My Mosque, a national campaign has grown from strength to strength. This year we have over 150 mosques open across the country, with 10 Welsh mosques participating we welcome you to support the event by popping in to your local mosque this Sunday 5th February.
