First Aid training for free
The Vale of Glamorgan Council are running a first aid course for informal carers. Knowing some simple first aid skills could be vital and a free, first aid awareness course will be running in the Civic Offices between 10am-12pm on Wednesday 22nd March 2017.

The National Assembly for Wales’ Children, Young People and Education Committee is undertaking a consultation on the First 1,000 Days.

The Welsh Government are planning to increase how much you pay for essential support
A consultation that ends on the 25th January 2017 is underway. Proposals that will increase the weekly charges for care from £60 to £70 then probably to £100 within four years are being considered.

Proposed Bill for children with additional educational needs
Around a quarter of learners in Wales will have some form of additional learning need during their education. The current legislative framework for supporting them is based on a model introduced more than 30 years ago. This Bill proposes to replace existing legislation with a new legal framework- your views are needed
