Meet the carers - come to a carers meeting near you!

Our Carers Gatherings offer a relaxed informal setting where carers can meet others who share the same responsibilities and challenges, let their hair down and share experiences. The gatherings are free for carers and refreshments or lunches are provided.  

Due to popular demand we are now meeting weekly in both counties!

Universal Credit is a new payment for working-age people whether they are in or out of work.  It combines some of the benefits and tax credits that a person may be getting.  It will not affect people of pension age.

Universal Credit Full Service will be rolled out in Cardiff from 28 February 2018.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council are running a first aid course for informal carers.  Knowing some simple first aid skills could be vital and a free, first aid awareness course will be running in the Civic Offices between 10am-12pm on Wednesday 22nd March 2017.
