Leaving fulltime education can be a difficult time.
Many of the services and support options that you and your child may have been used to receiving may end as soon as they finish school.
Adult services may be suitable but this is not always the case.
You will need to discuss and agree what support you and your child require, so that they continue to thrive and you can continue to work or attend to daily duties.
Sometimes this is a smooth process, but if you disagree with the support packages offered then be prepared for making a strong case
A well planned transition can be achieved, and result in you and your child receiving the support you both require, while enabling your child to reach their potential.
