Parents have been involved with the All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers to make a short film that explains your rights as a carer under the recent Welsh Government legislation.
Pauline Young MBE, a long term member and activist within both the Parents' Federation and the All Wales Forum has delivered training for carers across Wales on their rights and what they can reasonably expect under the new Social Services and Well Being Act that was passed by the Welsh Government.
Carers in each region of Wales might experience different levels of support or opportunities and it is useful to have an insight into what sort of support you can seek under the new legislation.
